Be sure to attach the white O-ring with the handle and the PC lid … or not, it is totally up to you.

You can grind with or without the PC lid. 

The black O-ring feature is considered an alternative feature and it is to attached the PC lid to avoid abrasion.

Be sure to remove it before operate grinding or drill-grinding. 

Get the white O-ring from the manual. 

Install it to well attach the handle and the PC lid.

Nice and steady.

The numerical adjustment design indicated each round. The number is easy to the eyes.
